An asset pack of original music tracks, ready to use in your GB Studio projects!
Features:
- GB Studio - generated .gb rom file to demo all tracks.
- Original music tracks, ready to use in your projects!
Tracks are based on the GBT Player Music Driver. - As of the release date (April 25th 2022), this pack includes 10 .mod files ready to be included in your projects and 10 .xm source files to edit, experiment and create your own track versions using MilkyTracker (Tracks were written in version 0.90.86).
It is my objective to write more tracks and upload them here, instead of creating a new project...
...who knows? I might be able to reach 99 tracks! I am in no rush, though!
Once you have purchased this, you will be automatically entitled to get all new tracks as they come!
Make sure to return every once in a while!
Demo Instructions:
- First set of numbers refer to the music tracks available so far.
- Second set of numbers refer to the current track selected.
- Press UP (Arrow key up) to select next track.
- Press DOWN (Arrow key down) to select previous track.
- Press LEFT (Arrow key left) to select next available track by skipping 10 tracks backwards.
- Press RIGHT (Arrow key right) to select next available track by skipping 10 tracks forward.
- Press A (Z key) to start playback .
- Press B (X key) to stop playback.
Tracks were written having in mind the real hardware - best sound is achieved there!
Put these tracks into good use!

About the SFX - in fact - that's a project I've been after for a while...
I thought about doing a reference sheet to achieve simple sound effects using GB Studio's built in beep and notes events.
There are nice possibilities just by playing with the pitch and notes...
Once I have a free spot I will work on that.

I'm new to looking into resources for games and such that I haven't made myself. If I purchased this, can I use this in a commercial project? What kind of license would this have?
I'm interested in using some of these for a game boy project of my own. :) No plans to charge money for it but am thinking of releasing it on Steam when the time comes (if it does).
